This is a hymn text that I found while reading the Autobiography of Parley P. Pratt. It was late at night but the tune just fell right into my head and I had to get up and write it down that moment. The text is a beautiful sentiment for the Saints of New York before Pratt left for a mission to England. "We held a general conference, in the 'Columbian Hall,' previous to our departure, in which the following song, composed by myself, was written expressly for that occasion and sung by those present... On the 9th of March, 1840, we embarked on board the ship 'Patrick Henry,' for Liverpool, England"

This is a beautiful arrangement that a neighbor of mine did of this well known hymn and children's song. I was heavily involved in arranging the piano portion and editing and improving the duet portions at the end.
