What I Do
MISSION STATEMENT
To spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through the heart-piercing power of music, to provide extrodinary training and resources to the lay members of the church music community, and to help inspire those in music callings to want to improve themselves and thereby lift and inspire others.
The Ward Choir Guy website is being developed to be an all-in-one resource for anyone in an LDS music calling. By the time we're through we hope to have at least the following features:
A comprehensive list of places you can go to find cheap and even free music for your choir or congregation including a rating system for each resource.
A discussion forum where we can all learn from each other's experiences and talents
Tutorials for anyone interested in magnifying their calling rather than just filling it.
Scriptural and spiritual resources for motivating, teaching and training choir members and other music officers in your area.

Ward Choir Who?
Hi, my name is Jason Robison and I am the Ward Choir Guy. I have been serving in church music ever since I was an alto and that was a long time ago! I often hear people comment that they got "stuck" with a calling in church music. And with that type of attitude, they are probably right! However, there is great power and influence for the good to be had in one of these sacred callings if it is MAGNIFIED properly. The goal of starting this website is to provide a myriad of resources for ward choir directors of every level and musical background. Please let me know how I can help you get satisfaction out of your calling in LDS music.
Best Wishes,
Jason Robison
